Minecraft Spellcraft DLC Adds “powerful” Spellcasting for Free
The Minecraft Spellcraft DLC differs somewhat from recent releases similar to the Minions that are invading. However, the marketplace is also filled to the brim with unique offerings and adventures to discover if you're content to sift through the clutter. Today's game is free and totally original, and comes from Gamemode One.
Last week, Spellcraft was teased as part of the fifth anniversary marketplace sale. Today is the day that we can access Spellcraft. Spellcraft is going to be the debut of a brand-new scripting API for Minecraft's Bedrock edition. The blurb claims that players can "craft powerful elemental spells that are powerful with over 20,000 unique spell combinations," featuring magical rifts packed with enemies. "Level your abilities and conquer more difficult challenges as you grow stronger!"
The magical systems in Minecraft usually are limited to enchantments, but the idea of having a complete spell system to tinker with is a lot of fun. There are many enemy types, including flying mages and elemental wisps.
The exact release date for the Spellcraft DLC isn't known at the moment because it's "coming shortly" at the time of writing. However, keep an eye on the site and you'll be able to download it as soon as it becomes available. In addition, if the teaser for it is true it will be free to download as well. It's hard to not agree with a cost-free price.
